alanataylor.au Alana Taylor is a Naarm/Melbourne-based director with a background in advertising and a love for visually rich, human storytelling. She has directed work for brands including Specsavers, Lean Cuisine, Medibank and The Gruen Transfer, with her work spanning TVCs, social, branded content and short-form film. Her directing style sits somewhere between beautiful, playful and a little unexpected, with a particular love for comedy, performance and finding those small, awkward or deeply human moments on screen. She brings a warm, collaborative and no-ego approach to set, creating space for talent to feel comfortable and performances to feel natural. Now looking to push further into narrative and commercial directing, Alana is drawn to bold ideas, interesting characters and stories with something to say, particularly work that brings fresh perspectives and unique voices to the screen.
