About Me

Polly is Naarm (Melbourne) based, non-binary director, filmmaker and Camera Assistant, with an interest in telling female and queer-led stories. They recently launched their Selftape and Showreel Studio, REEL THANG curated for actors and performers looking to update and elevate their showreel and audition material. They are a graduate of the Victorian College of the Arts (Masters of Film and TV) where they continued to develop their craft examining autobiographical stories through the lens of heightened and genre-based filmmaking. With their most recent film D-TOX currently doing the circuit at festivals including St Kilda FF, The Other FF and The Sydney Science Fiction FF. Polly is passionate about connecting with other queer and gender-diverse collaborators to create films that inspire hope without shying away from the struggles and complexity of this big adventure we call life.
