Kayla Purba (she/her) is an Indonesian filmmaker based in Meanjin/Brisbane, where she earned a Bachelor of Film and Screen Media Production from Griffith Film School (2025). She works across short and long-form narrative films, music videos, commercials, and experimental screen projects, moving fluidly between producing and art department with a sharp, detail-oriented eye and a strong instinct for visual storytelling. Her practice is grounded in world-building, atmosphere, and intentional imagery.
