About Me

Danni Fenech is a Sydney-based producer, writer and director with four years' experience across independent film, music videos and digital content for television. She currently works as an Associate Digital Producer at EndemolShine Australia, producing digital and social content for major unscripted formats including Survivor and MasterChef Australia.   As a writer/director, she is known for naturalistic, dialogue-driven storytelling that centres female experience, often through the lens of coming-of-age drama or comedy. Her short film Ablaze, which she wrote, directed and produced, explores violence against women and won Best Young Australian Short Film at Hervey Bay Film Festival, the Emerging Filmmaker Award at Heathcote Film Festival, and the REEL Change Award at REELise Film Festival. Her co-written and co-directed short The Last (Hot) Guy on Earth won Best Film at REELise Film Festival and screened at St Kilda Film Festival. As a producer, Danni's credits include the music videos Landmine (premiered on ABC rage) and Sip Away, as well as the short films Drifters and Interrupted, the latter winning Best Film at REELise Film Festival.    Danni holds a Bachelor of Media (Screen & Sound Production) and a Bachelor of Arts (English & Theatre) from UNSW, and a Diploma of Screen & Media from TAFE NSW. She is committed to championing female-led Australian stories that tackle gender-based issues while remaining sharply entertaining.
